Paz Pastrana (Director/Producer/Cinematographer) is a 2013 CINE Golden Eagle Award Winner, and a 2013 IDA Award Nominee. He is currently a field producer for the upcoming PBS series BEYOND BORDERS with Enrique Krauze, which highlights the Mexican immigrant experience in the U.S. due for release in 2016. Raul’s previous directing work includes “REZONOMICS,” which premiered at Mexico City’s DOCSDF Film Festival and “THE ART OF REMEMBRANCE,” which premiered at the Sheffield Doc/Fest 2011 and was a Nominee for the Student Academy Awards. His last film “OME: Tales From A Vanishing Homeland” was filmed on location in the Amazon rainforest and was funded by the 2011 Princess Grace Foundation Award and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Raúl graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in Social Documentary Film from the School of Visual Arts in New York City where he received the 2012 Paula Rhodes Memorial Award for exceptional achievement in social documentary Film.


Emily   Emily Parkey (Producer/Writer) received a 2013 CINE Golden Eagle Award for her work as producer for OME: Tales From a Vanishing Homeland. Emily has a Masters in Social Work and served for three years as the lead organizer for Rights for All People, a Denver, Colorado community based organization bringing the voices of immigrants to the struggle for equality, justice and human rights. Currently, she is the Director of Family Engagement at the Harlem RBI DREAM charter school in New York City and produces original content for Andar Films Inc. She is fluent in Spanish and has worked and traveled extensively in Central and South America.
